Why does good LinkedIn content still fail to get reach?

I keep noticing this pattern on LinkedIn.

Well-written posts
Clear ideas
Genuine experience

Yet… barely any reach.

Meanwhile, some posts with:

  • Generic advice

  • Repeated frameworks

  • Minimal depth

End up performing far better.

I’m curious to understand this from the community’s perspective:

  • Is LinkedIn optimizing more for behavior signals than content quality?

  • Does early engagement matter more than long-term value?

  • Are creators overthinking “quality” instead of clarity?

Would love to hear from:

  • LinkedIn creators

  • Founders building in public

  • Anyone who has experimented with posting consistently

Not looking to promote anything here. Just trying to understand how LinkedIn actually works today.
