why i'm building artifact

hey, i'm nabil.

i freelanced for years. the work was good. the calls were good.

and then i'd spend two hours after every call doing the work around the work.

turning a conversation into a proposal. formatting scope. second-guessing pricing. exporting a pdf. sending it. waiting. "just checking in." chasing a signature in one tool, an invoice in another, a contract in a third.

then ai happened. delivery got 10x faster. a solo designer now ships what a team of five did three years ago.

but the deal side, going from "great call" to "signed and paid", didn't move at all.

same blank doc. same pdf. same silence.

that's why i built artifact.

every tool in this space treats the document as the product. we treat the deal as the product.
