🚀 Would You Use a Browser-Based PDF Editor Like This? Looking for Honest Feedback!

by

Hey Product Hunt community! 👋
I’ve been building a web-based PDF editing tool and would love your thoughts on whether it’s actually valuable, what features you’d expect, and if you think it has a future in such a crowded space.

Honestly, I got tired of PDF tools that only offer a tiny set of free features, force uploads to their servers, or convert everything into low-quality images — it all feels unnecessarily complicated and outdated. I also wanted to bring something fresh to the PDF editing workflow with a more modern, canvas-based editing experience. So I decided to build a tool that feels smoother, more flexible, and actually pleasant to use.

Here’s what it can do so far:
✏️ Canvas-Based Editing

Edit PDFs directly on a drawing canvas with canvas based user experience.

☁️ Cloud Projects

Save your work in a project format on the server so you can continue editing from any device.

🔤 Advanced Text Editing

Edit text layers, change fonts (powered by Google Fonts), and preserve formatting. Custom font preferences are stored with each project.

🔒 Privacy-Focused

Your PDFs stay on your device — no uploading to servers. All editing happens locally for maximum security.

🌐 No Install Required

Runs entirely in the browser. No downloads, no extensions.

🙏 What I’d Love Feedback On

  • Does this solve a real problem for you?

  • What features would make it a tool you’d use regularly?

  • Is the “local processing + cloud project” combo appealing or confusing?

  • Do you see potential for this to stand out among existing PDF editors?

Any feedback — even brutally honest — is super appreciated.
Thanks PH fam! 💛
