Veilr launches Oct 6 — what would make you trust a translated chat with a stranger?

Hi, I'm Vasiliy the one developer behind Veilr.

It's a random chat (text, voice or video) where language stops being the wall: your messages can arrive in the other person's language, and on a call you read live captions of what they say, translated into yours. Web + Android, 16 interface languages. The launch here is scheduled for October 6.

Veilr - Omegle alternative with live translation and a voice AI

Veilr is an Omegle alternative where language doesn’t matter: random text, voice or video chat with people worldwide — messages can arrive translated, calls show live translated captions. New: when nobody’s online yet, talk to a voice AI in your own language (16 languages) while we keep searching — it’s always labeled as AI, and we offer to switch the moment a real person turns up. Anonymous by default, adults-only, free to start. Web + Android.
