Hi Product Hunt! I’m Mike, maker of Via. The idea came from a frustration while traveling last year. I kept seeing amazing cafés and restaurants on Instagram reels, but saving them was painful. You pause the video, try to catch the name, search Google Maps, and half the time the place is in another language. Most of the time… I just lost the spot. So I built Via. With Via, you can simply share a reel from Instagram or TikTok to the app. Via extracts the places automatically, saves them, and lets you organize and recall them later with AI search. Via is available on both iOS and Android. The goal is simple: turn travel inspiration into places you can actually find again. I love to pin nice places that I watch on TikTok or IG on my Google Map, so Via is a great tool for that purpose. Having consolidating these places on an app is a bonus.

@happytanuki Love that. That’s exactly how this started for me too. Pinning from reels worked… until I couldn’t remember why I saved them or that my map is a sea of pins. 😅 Via’s goal is to keep the context (video, vibe, details), not just the pin. Appreciate you checking it out.
