Do you still start with the old tools before AI takes over?

I still design in Adobe first. It's in my fingers, like being used to writing notes with a pen and then having to do everything on a computer.
After that I bring it to life with AI, which opens up a lot I couldn't do on my own before. But I don't want to skip the first part. That's where I actually think.
Curious if other designers and builders work the same way, or if you went fully AI from the start and never looked back?

Skip the manual thinking and youre just curating not designing. muscle memory in core tools still matters a ton for real quality control.

Depends, sometimes I start on paper with an idea, sometimes I drop a stream of thoughts into AI to explore different angles of the same thing, but the thinking part, the taste, is still on my side of the table.
It's great at execution, but mediocre at getting ideas by itself in my experience for what I do
