Is vibe coding creating more founders or just more unfinished products?
I've been thinking about this a lot lately.
About a year ago, I had zero coding experience. I came from corporate finance, had an idea for an app, and decided to try building it with AI.
Fast forward to today, and I've built and launched an actual iOS app. Something I genuinely never thought I'd be capable of doing on my own.
But here's what I've realized.
AI has made building something incredibly accessible. Almost anyone with an idea can start turning it into a product now.
And I think that's amazing.
But building the app and building a business are two completely different things.
You still have to understand your users, figure out distribution, handle bugs, deal with rejection, and convince people that what you've built is worth their time.
I almost feel like AI has made building the easiest part of starting a startup, while exposing how difficult everything else actually is.
So I'm curious what everyone thinks.
Is vibe coding creating a new generation of entrepreneurs, or are we just making it easier to build products nobody actually wants?
I genuinely see both sides of this.

Both, I think. What's changed is that building skill doesn't set you apart anymore, ideas and marketing do. The other split shows up later. Products built by someone who understands the base tech and products that just happened to work look the same on day one. The difference shows when users grow, usually as a security problem.
