When did vibe coding become actually useful for you?

I have been trying vibe coding more lately
Its crazy how fast you can go from an idea to something that actually works
But getting the first version out is easy
Making the code clean enough to keep building on is a different story 😅
I am still figuring out where vibe coding saves the most time and where it starts creating more work later
For people who use it regularly what do you use vibe coding for and where do you still prefer writing the code yourself?

I also use it when I get stuck. sometime having thing to start with makes the rest much easier
@rabeeaaftab Yeah exactly having something small to start with makes the whole process feel much easier I have noticed the same thing while building with vibe coding
It became useful only after I stopped trusting it with business logic. An agent generated a report with a metric that looked real, and it took a full day to realize it was just a hardcoded placeholder. Now I use it for scaffolding and trace every data path myself.
