I love Volv!! Have been using it as one of my main sources to get caught up on news these past 2 years.

Couple of feedback - 1. When I tapped the login button, it automatically popped a contacts permission prompt! a. "Login" flow should not be asking contacts permission. b. You might have a reasoning saying "easily share with your friends", but that's a very weak reasoning to justify data hoarding. Yes, I can deny that permission and still use the app. But knowing that the app has such tendencies makes me not trust the app. 2. Phone number as the only option for account creation -> that's a no go for me. Coupled with the point #1, it's not looking good.

Congrats on your launch 🚀 just dowloaded the app and currently giving a try! Some notes though: 1- I'd much rather seeing a date on the piece/news that I'm reading, as in when it is published.. without that, I cannot be sure how old is the piece.. 2- I believe pricing should be dependent to where you're based. It would be much accessible globally. I'm a user from Turkey, and it is hard to imagine any widespread usage from the non-western world. Widespread usage of the platform would be great! 3- I know it is a new launch, however I couldn't find any content relating to my field/interest: arts and culture. Still, hope to see its growth! 🌸
