Something about the way this video was shot made me keep thinking it was going to be a parody.

I hope that this could push the whole industry forward. Car as a service is the clear future for me. Buying a car and handling all troubles that come along the way is such a pain in the ass.

As a parent to at soon to be teen driver, this is super attractive if the cost roughly translates into USDs as the currency converter shows. Insurance alone will be several hundred dollars per month, drop in a used car that I expect will only be used for a few years, and it could end up being a wash but getting a new (safe) car instead. Excited to see this launch in the US.

I'm a big fan of this. Sure, maybe there's a few questions and quirks to figure out. But overall, seeing a well-established brand like Volvo take the reigns and try to push the automotive industry forward for today's world is amazing to see. Cars as a service, full stack leasing or whatever buzz word this ends up with, this is innovative.
