Our biggest bottleneck when adding politicians was always their images. Every politician needs a portrait in Votap’s exact style. Before, the process looked like this:

→ Search for an openly licensed image online
→ Upload it to AI and spend 2-3 attempts getting the style right
→ Manually upload the result to our backend
→ Copy the image URL and enter all the politician’s data
→ Finally publish the politician

Now?

→ Enter the politician’s name
→ Search and select an openly licensed image directly in the app
→ Generate a standardized portrait with AI using our template and customizable prompt → Click Create Politician. DONE. 🚀

The politician is instantly live, and I can even choose which users receive a push notification that takes them straight to the new profile.

And here’s the crazy part. Today I added a politician, opened Votap right after publishing, and there were ALREADY 10 votes on their profile. I genuinely can’t wait for the day when that number is in the thousands within minutes. This is going to make adding thousands of politicians SO much easier.
