I'm building a social app… without identities
Usernames and profiles are coming to Votap. But we’re keeping it fully anonymous. No names, no faces, just your generated tag and your activity.
(Yes… the look is a bit inspired by that “anonymous” vibe you often see around government / political topics — felt fitting 😄)
The goal is to let people express their opinion freely, without worrying about identity. At the same time, profiles will make conversations, replies, and interactions feel much more real.
A lot of updates coming to Votap very soon.

Curious about your plans for safety and security. I totally understand the concept and respect it, but unfortunately it seems like anonymity tends to bring out a 'different' side of people. Is there any age restriction or verification methods being used? What about user guidelines?

@skylerwindmiller Well the app itself is 18+ first of all. People verify themselves through their phone number. Not a perfect solution but in combination with other mechanism can catch bots etc. The 'different' side of people is a valid concern. I think that is a price worth paying for anonymity especially for an app about politics. People can report comments of other users right now so we can review it if necessary.
