I’ve been part of the London indie hacker community since Charlie ran IndieBeers (back when we could enjoy pubs) and has been extremely satisfying seeing him launch an IRL Weekend Club in late 2019, and then pivoting to our current format when the pandemic forced many business models to change. The Weekend Club community has had the single biggest impact on my life in the past 2 years and is a place I genuinely feel like I belong. Everyone is supportive and helpful, giving me feedback, advice and encouragement where I need it. If it wasn’t for Weekend Club I wouldn’t have made any progress on any of my side projects and certainly wouldn’t have launched my Indie Bites podcast. The weekend sessions are incredibly helpful and I've even had the pleasure of being a regular host for both our UK and US cohorts. I can't wait to see this grow and thrive. I’ve genuinely met some lifelong friends through Weekend Club and will continue to do so as more people join the community!

I joined a few months ago and LOVE IT. This awesome community has got me through loads of dips and helped me celebrate successes whilst bootstrapping. If you're a solo founder I can't think of a better ROI for your mental health & network. It's really fun too. Congrats on the launch @charlierward - you're killing it!

Another Weekender here... Weekend Club is such a part of my life now, my friends know at the weekends I'll be "Doing Hackers" and throughout the week we're all generally on Slack helping each other out or just hanging out. It's been a lifeline for both Indie Hacking development *and* human contact in the pandemic. I think it's safe to say we've all built up some great friendships over this time, and we support each other's challenges, root for each other's launches, and celebrate each other's wins. And when all this is over, we'll be drinking beers again like we used to do (as this used to be an IRL meetup, and may be again one day) *sob* !

I only joined weekend club a few weeks ago, but the community is absolutely amazing! Weekend club has been so incredibly friendly, helpful and supportive from the start, it feels like I found a part of the internet I can call home
