About
Westinghouse.ai enables inventors to spend more time inventing and less time with soul-crushing, wallet-draining lawyers and sketch artists.

What is your long-term vision?
“Go from an idea to a ready-to-file patent application in under 10 minutes.”

Can I try it for free?
Yes! Try it out and create your first 20 drawings at no cost (no card required).

Why did I launch this product?
After spending a fortune on sketch artists and hourly lawyers (the vast majority being boomers who barely know how to use Microsoft Word) for my own 20+ patent-pending inventions, I finally had enough. For decades, these paper-pushing wealth-destroyers and the sketch artists who work for them have robbed the world, undisrupted. That changes right now—forever. The time has come to fight back. To that end, may this Product Hunt announcement serve as our declaration of war against those currently employed as patent lawyers and sketch artists. These bottlenecks can, and must, be eliminated. We shall show no mercy or make any apologies in our accelerationist pursuit. “To the cliffs,” I say!

My thesis
In a post-ChatGPT world, where the barriers to creating software are coming down faster than ever, fierce competition is inevitable. Knock-off copycats (clones) are becoming more widespread. As such, there is an unprecedented need for founders to find new ways to protect their innovative products from being stolen. So that got me thinking. What can possibly serve as a better moat than a government-issued monopoly (i.e., a patent)? And just like that, Westinghouse.ai was born.

Why not just use DALL-E in ChatGPT or Midjourney?
Patent offices, such as the USPTO, have strict rules and guidelines for ensuring drawing compliance. The tiniest mistake can mean the difference between patent approval and having to go back and forth for weeks by filing replacement sheets to correct errors indicated by a patent office examiner, which can add up very quickly. We tried the image models available on the market, and they were simply incapable of delivering the level of detail that was expected (no matter how much we prompted and re-prompted, they just could not do it). For this reason, we invested a few thousand hours in fine-tuning our own image models. The result? Unprecedented image quality that ensures compliance with the standards of the USPTO and other patent offices around the world. Our error rates for compliance are a tiny fraction of those of the latest state-of-the-art image models available on the market today.
