This looks interesting! How fast is onboarding for Wispr Flow, and do you provide tutorials or community support?
Wispr Flow probably shot to one of my top 3 most used apps in just a few short days. Apparently I've dictated over 80k words in 10 weeks across desktop and iOS. Juggling ten clients and three kids is no joke, and being able to speak to communicate speeds me up by about 2-3x. Yes, I wrote this review with Wispr Flow ;)
I've been waiting for this for a long time. There are just so many use cases here. Typing on mobile is such a hassle, and this is literally the best alternative I've used. Thanks, Wispr Team, for making this happen!
@deemadh19 I wasn't a big note taker before Flow, and now that friction point is completely removed + I find myself using the Notes inside of Wispr to capture my thoughts.

Does it also do some kind of summarization and clean-up?
@manu_goel2 Flow automatically formats what you dictate, adding punctuation, cleaning up spelling, and making what you say succinct while keeping the intent of the message.

Tried this out. This is awesome. I was looking for this exact thing before on iOS, and it did not exist—or at least I couldn't find it. One thing that would make it a lot better though is if I can see a live transcript, even if it is not the final version before I press the finish button. Also, it would be much nicer if the Flow keyboard kept the letters there, because I do find it that I need to make corrections every few messages for a word or two, and it is quite inconvenient to have to switch back and forth. Speaking of which, is Flow able to see when I make edits to dictation and learn/adapt from my edits?
Was just talking to someone about how I wished Wispr or @Aqua Voice had a mobile version....and LOOK WHAT JUST DROPPED. I'm so excited to try this. Any plans to add "voice notes" along with the next version giving the recipients an option to listen as well?
Edit: using it now, what does "background mic" do? Couldn't find any documentation on this!
PS. I actually really enjoyed the commercial, well done!
@gabe Ask and ye shall receive :) What would you want to use voice notes for? Interesting idea!
The background mic toggle is like starting a Flow Session. This means you can tap the microphone from your keyboard to dictate with Flow--no need to return to the app.
@constanza_hasselmann quickly realize background mic was a clever way to get around the app switching!
Great question! Sometimes I'm in transit (biking, packed Tokyo train, hands full with kiddos) and can only listen/speak so would love to be able to incorporate my current voice message approach with dictation giving the recipients the option to both listen or read depending on what's best for them at the time.
Right now Apple's solution falls short, especially since my comms happen in multiple languages. Appreciate the response, Constanza!
Hey Tanay, Flow for iPhone sounds like a game-changer for those of us always on the move! Love how it integrates across apps and focuses on privacy. The whisper feature is genius for night owls. Excited to try it out and see how it enhances my daily flow! Keep up the great work! 🚀

@sofiia_kunakh We have an onboarding flow in the app that just takes a couple of minutes, and you'll have everything you need to get started!
We also have a Slack community that you can join for support & to get the latest on updates + new features.

80K words is no joke either! Glad to hear Flow for iPhone and Desktop helps you do it all—from startup guru to super dad.
Appreciate your support, @gaurav_vohra.

@jaisal_kothari Thank you for the support! What's your favorite use case?
Wispr Flow
I love how it integrates with my keyboard. I don't need to go to a separate app to do the dictation. Using it daily to write my to-dos in Apple Notes!

Hey @tony_xiao , Thanks for checking out the product! Hear you on the live transcript and letter keyboard, shared with the team.
Flow for Desktop learns from your edits using our smart dictionary. Not available on iOS quite yet!
