Hey Hamza, Ali, Quodsia, So this UI design looks from the 2000s. To give you the benefit of the doubt, I downloaded the app but can't log in, so your IOS backend for google isn't working; I will get that fixed as soon as possible. I had some questions: A) Why would I download another app to reinforce bonding when I have Slack, WhatsApp, and face-to-face communication? B) How do you plan to convince the most backward industries, like restaurants, hospitals, hospitality, and transportation, to integrate your app into their daily lives when they already struggle with implementing digital transactions? C) Did you interview the managers, employees, or both at these organizations because the input can mislead in developing an app? D) Last, did you apply the Mum test principles in those customer interviews?

You can click the following link to book a demo for Bravo. https://getbravo.io/book-a-demo/ Secondly, It is not a general communication app like Slack and WhatsApp. It is an internal app where team members share their achievements, get feedback from managers, peers, executives etc, and get rewarded for their efforts. Companies also use BRAVO to conduct company-wide surveys, get employees' feedback etc. Thirdly Bravo is not at the pre-revenue stage, it is self-sustainable, and many companies are using it. And we did all the necessary research before developing Bravo.

@hamza_afzal_butt1 1. Is the demo plan helping with the speed-to-value principle? 2. How do you know that manager is not automating the feedback? 3. The fact that you have companies doesn't mean that market will grow because what happens when Whatsapp or Facebook Messenger adds your functionalities to their WhatsApp groups? I am trying to help you improve the anti-fragility of your business; I am not questioning your intelligence, motivation, or expertise.

@jas801 Hey I'm the foounder and thought would jump in to answer some of the questions - which are all perfectly valid and good questions.. 1. Regarding UI: You are right it's from 2000s. We didn't want to invest too much in the UI before we validate the market demand for it. So the mobile app is a container app version of the regular web app, and hence it looks a bit old. Again it's an MVP. 2. We do not do market research in the traditional corporate way and I do not really believe in it either. What we do do is customer discovery. We first hypothesis what value we are delivering and then we validate whether there are customers who are willing to pay us for it, and willing to scale and recommend us. If those things are happening it means we have some-what of a product-market fit which is what we need to scale. If we dont have that we iterate and see what value would be the most sticky. A lot of times changing tiny things can make the difference between sticky and not sticky - for example UX/UI. 3. Regarding manager automation: it's not really a pain point for organization and in fact in some cases managers need to send out recommentations e.g. CEO giving out BRAVO points to the entire organization or a list of employees. Apart from that, more than manager feedback, BRAVO is used as peer-to-peer recommendation or data-based recommendation (e.g. meeting sales targets, birthdays, anniversaries, new hires) etc. 4. WhatsApp/FB Messenger etc cannot directly add this functionality. To build Bravo, one doesn't need to only add recommendation functionality but also partnerships with merchants and reward providers. This is not the core value prop of WhatsApp or FB Messenger. For FB @ Work, we already integrate with, we also integrate with Microsoft Teams, and Slack etc so companies can use us within their slack, MS Teams enviornments. By the way, you are right regarding some industries who can't use this - I wouldn't call them backwards though. For example, we have even talked to mine operations, construction companies etc where employees have neither access to smart phones nor computers. Other than restaurants, hotels etc aren't actually backwards. When it comes to recognition, they have their own ways. Digital may not be the right way to go for every company. Thanks a lot for your questions and comments. 5. Employee rewards is $200 billion market in the US. What we are doing is linking that with peer to peer recommendations and using those as a base on which any organization - distributed or centralized - can handle all their team awards, recognitions, rewards programs etc. This is the core value. Most of our customers are organic, meaning they search for us and sign up and then grow. Second to that are referrals - so managers when they change companies recommend us. By the way, to use the app and login you need to sign up first. If you'd like we can set up a demo account and you can play with it.
