I’m Miro, the maker of WorldOfTheMaps.
I’ve always been fascinated by maps and data, but I also had a tough time enjoying geography back in school. When Wordle blew up, I thought: what if we had the same “one puzzle a day” mechanic, but with geography and real-world datasets?
So I built WorldOfTheMaps: a small but growing daily game where you get one dataset each day to guess from a rotating globe. The goal is to make geography and data visualization fun — not boring like it sometimes felt in school.
I’d love your feedback on:
- Which datasets you’d want to see (beyond the basics like population & GDP)
- How to make the game more shareable/social
