I believe the needs in strategy consulting are similar to those in investment banking. Is there a reason why you only market to investment banking?
@mustaphachqoubi Spot on. From the outside, they may seem similar, but they’re not exactly the same. Given my background, I’ve chosen to focus on IB first. If I find PMF, I’ll expand the range of documents to offer a complete suite before expanding horizontally.

During my job search I ended up applying to a few banking/M&A Roles and cramming a lot of case studies where I had to deliver powerpoints and one pagers, and I can't believe how much easier this would have made the job itself had I continued down this route! Actually... now thinking of it even as a student during my masters in management and business administration would have gone a whole lot smoother if I had this for all of the case studies we had to do
@anas_chhilif I understand. As I always say, half the job in investment banking, or even 100% at junior levels, is producing impeccable PPT presentations. It’s even one of the case studies used when hiring interns and analysts.
I’m curious to know how you went from banking roles to building @ApplySeed. What’s your story?
Amazing, well structured decks were always the issues either in banking, consulting or even Market research. It think the product usability can go beyond IB, as it is much needed across other fields.
@oussama_nakhil Yes, I agree. As I mentioned earlier, the idea is to focus primarily on IB before expanding.
Honestly, I’m still struggling to understand why Claude, for example, has trouble producing these documents. It seems to be a blind spot for LLMs.
Do you create slides yourself? What has your experience been with LLMs for this?
