It s Saturday, and most of us continue working anyway...

When I m doing very intellectual tasks, I just put on my headphones - without any music - and concentrate on my thoughts.

But when I need some inspiration, or I m doing some repetitive work, there s always music in my ears.

Every activity has its own type of music for me:

In Turkey, when someone you love leaves on a journey, you pour a cup of water behind them. "Su gibi git, su gibi gel": go smoothly like water, come back just as easily.

When a subscriber churns in ShipHQ, nobody gets angry and the office doesn't go dark. Someone just steps out and pours water after them. Churn hurts, but I wanted it to feel like "see you again" instead of a loss.

How do you handle the days when someone cancels? Do you look at churn, or avoid it?

I have 165 day streak today and ~1.3K followers on Product Hunt...

Something I couldn t really brag about just 5 months ago =D

And I m trying to understand deeper - what is this day streak? What does it give? And why do we keep it?

The first thing I guess is consistency.
