Here's something I think we don't do well: Sharing kind, targeted and constructive feedback with the teams who build the products we love.
Over the past few months I've been building a data analyst at Pancake AI - capable of analysing large volumes of feedback, and in the process I must have read well over a couple thousand user comments.
One pattern keeps I keep seeing more and more - most of us genuinely want to help the products we use get better, but we're not always sure how to share that feedback effectively.
I wanted to test a theory that given (1) the right space, (2) some timely guidance and more importantly (3) the right intent, we'll actually offer product teams genuinely insightful feedback.
I'm not thinking of public review sites like Trustpilot or G2 - those often feel performative or rant-like. More like a "private channel" that connects users to the team and invisible to everyone else. Enter only if you're here to help, not to vent.
