AbilityMic: AI-powered AAC and home control for Apple devices

Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I built AbilityMic around a simple idea: communication should help people act on the world, not only speak about it. AbilityMic combines AAC with the Apple ecosystem. A user can build a sentence from 5,400+ symbols, speak it aloud, and use native HomeKit integration to control compatible lights and other home accessories. HealthKit and emergency tools extend that independence into care and safety scenarios. AI is designed to reduce effort, not replace the user’s voice. On supported devices, Apple Intelligence provides private, on-device suggestions and sentence completion. Optional Pro tools can generate communication boards and symbols or provide a broader assistant. The core AAC experience remains available offline. What makes AbilityMic different is the combination: AAC, on-device AI, native home automation, health and safety tools, and support across Apple devices in one accessible experience. We also support OBF/OBL exchange, VoiceOver, Switch Control, large touch targets, high contrast, and Reduce Motion.
