There's a lot of good information here, both on what the candidates have done in the past and how they present themselves now.
Pros:This is an easy-to-use, informative guide
Cons:Very few
Instead of telling me what I should think, Abridge offers summaries of candidates’ platforms in a way that allows me to organically develop and defend my own view and votes. The freedom of thought makes me feel like Abridge credits and trusts its readers in a way that legacy news platforms can’t.
Pros:Distills perspectives of candidates into quickly consumable blurbs without editorializing or directing readers to a conclusion.
Cons:Would love to see even more content!
Overall, Abridge News has developed a great product that supports civic discourse and engagement during this critical election period. I appreciate having an unbiased source to do my election research and look forward to seeing how Abridge builds on this product in the future!
