For about 7 months I've been using Abstract and can say that it's fundamentally changed how I feel about my process. I no longer stress about versioning. Even if I forget to save my work, it's still there. It's core purpose is to give designers version control, but they've already made it much more than that and are making headway on improving more than just file storage. I for one, am looking forward to how this incredible team evolves Abstract.

Detail for Mac and iOS

Been using the private alpha for months now. And there is no going back. It's a little tricky initially getting some designers to understand git workflow and best practise, but abstract makes it simple enough. For anyone designing in teams I cannot recommend highly enough.

Wait, on the landing page it says nothing about it being mac only. I created an account but I fail to see if or how I can use it on windows.

It's a great concept but the implementation is still lacking; resource usage is incredibly high, the application is frustratingly slow, and the amount of bugs encountered is in the tens per day.

Pros:

Very cool VCS for design tools

Cons:

only for sketch, INCREDIBLY resource intensive, very buggy

Have been using this throughout Alpha - such a solid project. Solving a problem EVERY designer faces. The support team has been so accommodating for all my questions / concerns. Definitely a product worth getting, no question!
