While working with engineering teams, we noticed a recurring problem: there was no shortage of engineering data, only a shortage of meaningful insights.
GitHub, Jira, Slack and other tools generate thousands of events every day, but they only tell part of the story. Research, debugging, architecture discussions, local experimentation and other valuable work often go unnoticed, leaving engineering leaders to rely on fragmented dashboards and manual reporting.
That's why we built Activity Racoon.

finally something that digs past commit counts and actually looks at where time gets eaten up. the privacy angle is a nice touch too, most tools in this space kinda gloss over that part
@uyanbal77090 Thanks for checkin out! That was actually the motivation behind building Activity Racoon. Everywhere I worked, performance was judged by ticket counts, commit counts, and sprint points, but those rarely explain why something took time. I wanted to change that.
Privacy is just as important to us. I've always been interested in cybersecurity, so we treat source code and engineering data with the level of care they deserve, especially for enterprise teams.
