Aequsy lets you support real-world causes for a shot at life-changing experiences. Choose a hero goal, back it, and when the timer ends, the cause gets support, and one backer wins a reward. All transparent. All verifiable. All on blockchain.
I like the idea of altruism. The question is: How do you want to compete with Donio, GoFundMe and similar?

@busmark_w_nika Great question, and fair. We’re not trying to replace platforms like Donio or GoFundMe. They’re amazing for personal or urgent fundraising. But Aequsy is focused on something different: making generosity feel joyful, exciting, and communal.
Our model brings people together around bigger, verified causes, and rewards participation with experiences that people genuinely dream about. It’s not about raising money for one person’s emergency; it’s about creating a movement of giving that feels good and scales naturally.

@busmark_w_nika Yeah I’d say we’re not a direct competitor, we’re an alternative.
Platforms like GoFundMe are great when you already care about a cause. Aequsy is about pulling people in through excitement and transparency, and turning one-time donors into engaged participants.
The “reward” is not just the experience it’s the feeling of being part of something bigger, and knowing it’s all traceable and real.

👋 Hey everyone!
I'm Franco, and I’ve been building Aequsy with @joanduarte
Aequsy started from this simple idea: what if supporting a cause could feel exciting again? We wanted to build something joyful, transparent, and genuinely impactful, and we’re proud of what it’s becoming.
What makes it fun for me is seeing how people pick Hero Goals that match their values AND their dreams. It’s not just about donating, it’s about participating in something bigger (and yeah, maybe getting to do something unforgettable too).
Excited to hear your thoughts, feedback, or even just a quick hello 🙌
Hello! Congrats on the launch! This is a fantastic idea, combining charity with exciting experiences. It's truly inspiring to do good and have a chance to get something cool in return. The transparency and blockchain-backed tracking you mentioned are especially crucial. In my country, people are tired and suspicious due to relief funds being misused, so transparency is absolutely vital.
If I were to promote this product in my country, what do you think would be the biggest challenge it might face?

Love the blockchain verification! But how do you:
1. Audit real-world fund deployment? (e.g., if $10k for ‘clean water’ is raised, how is delivery proven on-chain?)
2. Handle off-chain failures? (e.g., cause succeeds → winner gets Bali trip, but local partner fails to drill wells)
3. Prevent oracle manipulation? (who certifies cause completion?)
@joanduarte Super cool stuff. I bet giving is going feel much meaningful with aequsy. Congrats on your launch!

Hey @aaronoleary ! You said we could pitch in the comments, so here I am 😅 We launched Aequsy, a joyful twist on giving. Would love your thoughts if it catches your eye! 🙌
👋 Hey Product Hunt Community!
I'm Joan, and together with @franco_quattroqui, we built Aequsy.
We built Aequsy because giving should feel good, and maybe even a little exciting.
On Aequsy, you:
✅ Donate to verified causes
🎟️ Get entries for epic, life-changing experiences
🔗 Track everything transparently on blockchain
🧩 Level up and earn multipliers as you support more causes
Our twist? Every draw supports a cause, and one lucky supporter wins something extraordinary.
You can track every donation and every draw. It’s transparent, backed by blockchain, but simple to use, just like any other platform.
We’re just getting started, so if you care about doing good (and maybe doing something cool in return), we’d love your feedback 💛
→ Try it out here: aequsy.com
→ Share with friends, earn 10% from their entries 💛
Thanks for being part of our Day 1 🚀
