Yeah it can definitely churn out some ‘meh’ results at times. It's difficult to consistently produce interesting results with the limited information it gathers from a website.
So my way of improving results:
1. Extrapolate information like target market, positioning etc
2. Go through a series of logical steps to hopefully come to an interesting insight (essentially RAG)

@cameronbogatez Absolutely, the necessity of RAG is clear. We've already amassed a multitude of methodologies aimed at fostering growth. The key now is to enable models to apply these methodologies quantitatively and effectively.

I'm really intrigued by how Steve sifts through that massive pile of growth strategies to find what clicks for a specific startup. Just curious, how do you envision to keep up with the latest trends in startup growth? How did you develop your database? Do you feed any newsletter in? @rene_bystron Thanks! I've been developing my database over time. I just spend a lot of time researching and reading the latest startup growth stories (including from other newsletters).
And the AI searches the database to find the most relevant based on the priority you choose (I'm working on making this more variable)
