Hey Product Hunt! 👋 While working with coding agents, I noticed that writing code was no longer taking most of my time. I was spending it deciding what to build next and repeating the same product context. The code showed what existed, but not why I built it or why I had ruled out other ideas. That frustration led me to build AI4Kanban. AI4Kanban is an open-source Kanban board that lets an agent help manage the project, not just write the code. Give it a rough idea and it will work through the missing details. Ask what to do next and it will suggest tasks based on the project goal and past decisions. It can also split up work, track dependencies, set priorities, and plan releases. When you correct it or reject an idea, it keeps that context for next time. Everything is stored as Markdown in Git. There is no database, account, or MCP server. You can use the local UI or manage the board directly with Claude Code or Codex. I do not want AI making the important product calls. I want it to handle the routine planning work, remember what we already discussed, and come to me when a decision actually needs human judgment. I have been using AI4Kanban to build AI4Kanban itself. That is also how I test the broader idea behind it, which I call Kanban Engineering.
