Very interesting new concept that leverages AI for better social interactions online. Will follow developments closely. Looking forward to try it out when the team turns invites back on :)

I am split
Things I love:
- All voice
- Fully async
- Translation
Things I am not sure of
- Too much of voice :))
- Text has a certain order that speaking lacks. Chances of rambling while writing are lesser. People self-dismiss, which doesn't happen as much in voice
- The product seems overwhelming but I am sure that will fix itself.
I don't think this is Clubhouse. While it may suffer the same state as CH, it will not be for the same reasons.

This would be soooooo much better (in my view) if it was just for podcasts.

I've been using Airchat for a year, throughout all it's iterations. There's tons of amazing folks that I now call friends that I met on AirChat and it's definitely a breath of fresh air as it comes to social media apps, specifically because voice intonations etc cannot be faked easily.
You know who you're speaking with!
Definitely give it a try if you have a friend in there, it's really fun.
I am addicted. I absolutely love it. Having to use your voice as the only input is a beautiful thing because it humanizes and enriches convos. Well done 🎉🎉🎉

I've really enjoyed using Airchat. It's been an invaluable resource for busy leaders in the homeschooling community to share resources and support. I also recored a podcast asynchronously with thought leaders in 8 different time zones. It was our most popular episode so far and the sound quality was superb. The community is very welcoming and respectful.
@modulo1 have you tried the new version? I understand it's completely different.

@chrismessina I just logged on today. t has changed quite a bit since I first discovered it (a LOT more clean and user-friendly which is normal for a design-centered product with a lean ethos), but the spirit is the same, people connecting and getting addicted to deep, great conversations. Also, a cool piece of it is that Naval is super active on the platform and if you share something interesting or reply meaningfully to him, he usually engages and even gives personal advice.

Airchat looks like a fantastic way to connect with others in a spontaneous and meaningful way. It's intriguing that you've created a social walkie-talkie. Looking forward to exploring it and chatting with like-minded people. Congrats on launching and all the best!
