Also: it occurs to me that Airport BINGO and Stray Boots actually co-exist in a nice way. BINGO is a super light-weight game to play in the hours where you're in the airport, whereas Stray Boots demands more of your time & attention, so it's great for exploring after you've arrived.
Conversely, a full-fledged game like a scavenger hunt wouldn't fit nicely into the interrupt-heavy experience of airport navigation, and BINGO isn't captivating enough to warrant your full attention during a vacation.
I think people who enjoy one will enjoy the other, and use both at different phases of their trip.
I think this concept is very nice. In my country, there are lots of shopping mall. The same concept may be implemented to shopping malls, too. They have budget.
Nice hack, @staringispolite. :) I'd love to see other bingo boards for other location-based stereotypes like The Creamery (in SF), Wal-Mart, and the boardwalk on the Jersey Shore.
