Why we made the app:
In 2015, we couldn't find a clean, ad-free Quran app with word-by-word translations in Bangla. After checking 20+ existing apps, we found them cluttered and lacking essential features. We decided to build what was missing.
What inspired us:
Our goal was simple: help Muslims worldwide strengthen their connection with the Quran through an app that genuinely serves their needs—accessible, intuitive, and distraction-free.
What problem we solve:
We provide a completely free, ad-free Quran experience with 175 translations in 66 languages, word-by-word analysis, color-coded Tajweed (a first!), and 80+ reciters. Everything works offline, syncs across devices, and helps users build consistent reading habits.
How our approach evolved:
We started by studying the best UX patterns from apps people use daily, then pioneered features like Bangla word-by-word and color-coded Tajweed. We obsessed over performance—optimizing every feature from scrolling to audio playback—to keep the app lightweight yet feature-rich. The result: 15+ million users and a tool that makes Quran study simple and meaningful.
