Albato helped me automate repetitive tasks in my shipping workflow, especially replying to customers about shipping quotes and organizing requests. It is very easy to use, has many ready integrations, and saves a lot of time. It also offers good value compared to competitors and the customer support is responsive.

What needs improvement

The credit system could be improved, as credits run out quickly when running multiple automations. Also, the number of direct integrations is still smaller compared to some competitors. More learning resources and clearer documentation would help new users get started faster.

vs Alternatives

Make and Zapier. I chose Albato because it is more affordable, simple to set up, and provides the integrations I need for my daily operations.

I have been using Albato for a while now, and it has saved a tremendous amount of my time. There were a few tasks that I was doing manually and now, I don't even look at them. My Sales information from WooCommerce is being synced to various other tools automatically and that's possible because of Albato. In the last 6 + months I had to connect with the Support only once, and they were quite responsive to resolve my issue. It's been improving rapidly over tim, and they've also implemented various requests that I had made in the beginning. Congratulations to Team Albato on your launch on Product Hunt.

Moreover, Albato's user-friendly interface and intuitive features have made setting up and managing automated lead ads an effortless task. It has saved our team valuable time that can now be redirected towards building stronger relationships with our customers. Oh, let me tell you about the support we got from Albato! When we started with the Facebook API, we consumed 100 operations per day. So, I reached out to their support, and the guy there was so helpful! He recommended replacing API with webhook integration. It worked like magic! Their support helped us save the remaining operations.

I bought the Tier 3 app sumo deal a few weeks ago, and the google sheets based triggers (which are supposed to be one of their top 5 use cases) are full of bugs and basically useless. On top of this, their documentation is very sparse, and it's not in product. For instance, to use the edit of a row in a google sheet as a trigger, you need to manually copy and paste a complex app script to your google sheet. This isn't mentioned ANYWHERE in the product itself when setting up the integration. So, unless you go out of your way to search for help in this trigger (and manage to find it), you won't even know that's a step. And the error you receive if you haven't taken this hidden step does nothing to point you toward doing it. Hours wasted. Then, if you only want the trigger to fire if a certain column of your row is edited, there's no way to do that. Instead, you need to set up a 'filter' that filters on static values instead of dynamic content from your row. And to make matters worse, these filters don't even work for most of the advertised use cases. They either let everything through, or nothing through, not matter how you set them up. They are especially bad at recognizing blank values, which aren't covered in the docs at all. I really want to love this product, because it was a great deal, but it's half-baked, and the support is terrible. I have sent 5 different messages about the second issue over 10 days and keep getting back messages like 'give me a minute' and then no response for days. Or just no response at all to some of them. It's frustrating, because I eventually reached one support rep named Maneul on a prior issue, and he was GREAT. He took the time to actually read my ticket, dive into what was going on, and report back on what the company would do about the issue, and how I could work around it. The other two reps I keep running into have been either incompetent, or pulling disappearing acts. I'm also having trouble with the 'new user joins slack' trigger, but don't have time to detail it. In fairness, some of the other use cases are working as expected, but with the shoddy docs and non-responsive support, it's been a huge time suck with very little pay off. I won't be canceling zapier anytime soon I guess, but I may return this deal if support can't get their act together.

I've been using Albato for the last few months, since their launch on AppSumo and I'm thoroughly impressed by what they have managed to do in such a short amount of time. Albato's most impressive feature, in my opinion, is their approach to automation. Say goodbye to the repetitive grind or the headaches of coding. Albato offers a smooth way to link everyday apps seamlessly. Albato boasts an extensive selection of available apps, making it a breeze to choose and connect your preferred applications. This rich library ensures you can automate tasks smoothly across various platforms. Albato's platform has an extremely user-friendly interface. Unlike some of its competitors that left me scratching my head, Albato's UI/UX is straightforward and beginner-friendly. Even if you're not a tech whiz, you'll find it easy to navigate and put to use. With the above being said, I have at times encountered longer than usual loading times when using the App Integrator, but nothing so serious that it hindered my work. Albato is a worthy up and coming competitor to Zapier.

The team is really committed, the interface is both easy to understand and extremely powerful, making it easy to create complex workflows with less effort.
