The UI is fast and easy to understand. Their Canvas builder is very nice to use and keeps the overview over things. I like how easy Actions are to combine with LLMs.

What needs improvement

I think their "update records and create new one if not present" is overly complicated. It'd be much easier to have one Action instead of having to implement three for finding a record, updating if found and creating a new one if not found.

The UIX can use improvement but the reliability is there. The price is very competitive and the technical support is helpful. If I could ask for only one thing, it would be an academy or some better way to learn how to utilize all of their features.

I’m using Albato as an automation/integration platform, and what really surprised me was how good their learning support is. They don’t just give you a static help center—they have a video lecture series that walks you through real workflows step by step. That made it much easier for me to understand how the pieces fit together instead of just memorizing features. As someone who doesn’t live in automation tools all day, being able to watch short, focused videos and then immediately replicate what I saw in my own account reduced the learning curve a lot. I went from “ok this looks powerful but scary” to “I can actually build useful automations on my own” in a weekend.

Overall, the educational content is a big reason I stuck with Albato instead of giving up when it looked complex at first - after trying Albato, I even upgraded my plan on Appsumo

What needs improvement

Even though the educational videos are very helpful, each video uses different example to illustrate the tools - it would be great if there was a video series that builds a complex automation from scratch using as many tools in Albato as possible, so that users see all the tools in action.

vs Alternatives

I am new to automation game, so this is the first service I tried, but given the great price I got on Appsumo and the variety of tools Albato offers, I don't have a reason to look for other tools, at least for now.

How well does the App Integrator connect custom APIs?

Very well! Albato offers custom code option through JS or Python, which makes it easy to integrate any API easily.

Are pre-built templates useful or need heavy customization?

The pre-built templates are useful for specific use case they were created to tackle. If a more complex flow is necessary, of course, the template will require customization.

How frequently do they release updates and improvements?

Very frequently: the roadmap section is very extensive and almost impossible to read through everything.

Support has been excellent. Responses come quickly through chat, they genuinely troubleshoot edge cases with you, and they actively incorporate feedback into the roadmap, which makes Albato feel like a partner rather than just a vendor.

Albato’s white-label works very well for embedding into a SaaS product. The UI is clean and customizable, the branding is easy to adjust, and the experience feels native to our app, so customers just see it as “our” automation layer.

They move fast and ship improvements regularly. New features, integrations, and UX tweaks roll out on a consistent basis, and the public roadmap plus changelog make it clear they are actively listening to user feedback and iterating quickly.

Makes automation simple and effective What I like most Albato makes it incredibly easy to connect different tools and set up automations without needing any coding skills. If you're looking for a great alternative to Zapier, Albato is definitely worth considering, especially for those who need complex, multi-step solutions. The support team is simply outstanding, and this is no exaggeration! They helped me build the automation I couldn't create on my own, showing patience and expertise. A special thanks to Dariusz for his incredible support. In my personal experience, I’m using Albato to connect Tidycall to ActiveCampaign, making it similar to, if not even more efficient than, the native Calendly app. With Albato, I was able to separate first and last names into two distinct fields, assign different names for the six calendar types in Tidycall, and transfer them to ActiveCampaign, placing all the questions through arrays into the various fields of ActiveCampaign. Believe me, this tool is worth its weight in gold! I genuinely want to give my honest feedback: no one paid me for this, but I just want to express my appreciation for the Albato team who helped me with my work and are saving me money!

Albato : a game changer in the automation world. The UX/UI is really good, performances too. A lot of Apps and integrations are available, and is growing week after week. In case your third party app or API call for an app is not available, you ca' request to get it impmemented, but also, and that's so powerful, you can implement it by yourself, for yourself or for others if you publish it. Awesome ! There's a learning curve, but affordable, really. Documentation is great, and Albato support is efficient and reactive. Congrats Albato, I unsubscribed BOTH Zapier and Make, your product is a no brainer.

Albato is awesome! For me it's the perfect combination of simple and capable. Simple with the already integrated apps and capable with the App integrator, allowing you to integrate any app with an API. This is especially useful when you want to make a new automation with your already self integrated app as you don't need to start over integrating it. - And the Albato support team is simply awesome, they will guide you and look through API documentation supporting you when integrating custom apps and creating automations.

I am so excited about the possibilities for Albato as an affordable alternative to other automation plugins. So far I am using it to sync things across my membership and my email and it's all going smoothly.
