Very cool to see this @msg. We used a number of Zapier rules, which evolved into slack-native email integrations set via rules in gmail, and this seems like a really useful step forward.

I actually created a tool like this using Zapier last year. I found it very helpful as it was communications from one specific domain and their team members I was working with. It eliminated my needing to check the email account that mail was being sent to so I see the value.
I my mind this is idea for people who have multiple email accounts (like a very important personal account) that doesn't need to be checked as often as their work email during the day, or vice versa, when you're done working and an important, urgent, or email from a client, colleague or manager who needs your attention.

@andyabramson I had the same thing setup but thought it was too cumbersome to manage. This just makes it easy to say "add" or "remove" the email, domain, or keyword you don't want to miss.
@chrismessina Communications outside the company are still mostly via email. Or for at least those that are, I found this handy to immediately have emails distributed to channels that need to know or act on it.
