AllMySat is not just a satellite tracker. It’s built for people who want to use satellites in real conditions. You can track objects in real time, access frequencies, and log your passes inside the app. Everything is designed for clear, fast use outdoors, with deep iOS integration, night vision mode, and support for multiple languages on iOS and iPadOS.
Looks promising. Quick question though, does it actually pull live TLE data on its own or do I need to plug in my own source somehow?

Does the night vision mode actually adjust the UI colors for red-friendly viewing, or is it more of a dim theme toggle? Trying to figure out if it would hold up during actual dark-sky sessions.
@dceteli47457 The night vision mode uses a true red filter over the UI, not just a dim theme.
Does it work fully offline once the pass predictions are loaded, or do I need a connection for the real-time tracking and frequency data?
@brahimbedk4vop All necessary data is cached on the device, so you don’t need an internet connection for real-time tracking or accessing frequency information. After a few days without an update, pass predictions may become progressively less accurate.
night vision mode actually works well outside, way easier on the eyes than the usual bright interface. pass logging felt snappy too, will keep using it during field work.

Curious how the pass logging actually works when your phone is in airplane mode or you have zero signal out in the field?
@zlemb5nb TLE are orbital data sets that describe each satellite’s trajectory. With them, you can compute where a satellite will be at any time without needing live data. AllMySat keeps these TLE cached on the phone and updates them every 6 hours. If you’re offline, it just uses the last cached TLE, still reliable for hours, but accuracy slowly degrades after several days without a refresh.
Love how the night vision mode actually works well enough to read on my phone in the dark during early morning passes. Pass logging feels quick and not clunky like other trackers I have tried.
