I'm not sure it's an easy or a difficult job to block all that unnecassary requests, but now Amazon looks simple so you expect less requests 😅

@ozgrozer my thoughts exactly. Hiding dom elements is not the same as blocking requests.
Nice work @radymek! I love this idea and I’m about to go get my computer at 4AM to try it out. Can’t wait to see how it changes my experience on Amazon & what comes next.
Cheers!
@3raxton Thanks Braxton!
I've had it enabled for about a week on chrome and accidentally opened up a link on safari, the difference is overwhelming!

Pretty much turns Amazon homepage into a search engine akin to google.com. Search bar at the top, browsing capabilities after your first search, I'd say this is a pretty dang good idea for someone like me who likes to use Amazon but doesn't like to get sucked into aimless browsing of junk I don't need!
Thank you!
I like the idea of this. Amazon has become way too cluttered with ads to my liking as a consumer and Amazon seller. But the extension doesn't seem to work as intended. Most of the "sponsored product" ads still display in the search results, as do the Sponsored Brands (formerly called Headline Search Ads) and DSP (Demand Side Platform) banner ads. Additionally, there are formatting issues on home page and other sections (large blocks of white space) due to the extension's removal of content.
@bryan_sarlitt Hey Bryan, thanks for the feedback, Iv'e done pretty thorough testing on the US site, but as always some ad's do get through, if you have some time please message me examples of where these issues show up and I'll update, thanks!

Nice product. This will reduce shoppers' time browsing through amazon.
I am doing a Product challenge for 20 days where I write about the #1 product on PH. Today, day 12, I wrote about Amazon Lite -> https://medium.com/@nife/product...
@sunilc_ Hey Sunil, updated and added support for .in, keep in mind I haven't gone through localized pages entirely, if you find anything that doesn't look right, please contact me! Thanks!
