Critical Outlook sync bugs severely impacted our operations - now resolved
We’ve been premium Amelia customers for multiple WordPress platforms, relying on the plugin to manage thousands of appointments for our energy advisory services.
Earlier this year, the Outlook calendar integration broke for weeks, causing:
Duplicate and ghost appointments staying in Outlook after cancellation
Wrong customer details overwriting appointments
Multiple conflicting bookings, risking missed or duplicate appointments
We shared full admin access, reconnected Outlook integrations, reset the Microsoft App Registration, and aligned time zones - yet support mainly suggested basic troubleshooting and offered no clear resolution or escalation for almost two months.
This affected multiple websites and business units and had a direct negative impact on our operations.
Update 22-08-2025:
After escalation and direct involvement from Aleksandar at Amelia, the problem was finally fixed (though the exact cause remains unclear). Communication at the end was much improved, and Amelia explained what went wrong on their side and what changes were made to prevent future delays.
I’m updating this review to reflect that the issue is now resolved and that their support process appears to have improved, though the long initial delay was costly for our business.
I am using this plugin for 2-3 days and for now it seems that this is the best appointment booking plugin that I have ever used. Strongly recommended!
Pros:Beautiful design, very fast and intuitive.
Cons:Lack of "Google 2 way synchronization", but creators of the plugin said me that they will implement this feature in the next release.
