Any clue on price? I'm pretty happy with my Fitbit Force, but more metrics is always appealing. I think it'd take a 10x leap in functionality to get me to put down another $100+ on something else.

So the heart rate & body temp metrics are the new features in this product vs FitBit/FuelBand?
I really like my FitBit One, but given all of the issues getting activity tracker bands to market (Jawbone Up, issues with the new FitBit bands, etc.), I'd be skeptical pre-ordering this one.
@shedd In addition to pulse and temperature, I like that it has a footpod sensor which allows it to be used for more than just walking/running. I haven't pre-ordered, but curious to see how good/accurate it is compared to other wearables.
@machinehuman I hope so! It seems like they're pretty open to developers building on top of their data—they've already mentioned plans to open up their SDK.

I pre-ordered one almost a year ago (2/18/2013), mostly because of the heart rate monitoring, which is a must-have feature for me in an activity monitor. Price was $99 on Indiegog, not sure what the retail price will be. Units have yet to ship, which is a big disappointment. I've also realized in the interim that the lack of a display on the band is probably a deal breaker for me.
