I’ve been really wanted to invest more time in educating myself and reading/listening to other people’s stories has been super eye opening! The concept of have diverse voices come through storytelling is so innovative and I can already tell this community is gonna grow so much. Highly recommend and support this app!

Anecdote is refreshing: a breath of fresh air in the digital world. I absolutely love the idea of a story-based social media app that gives people direction in which to connect, while simultaneously allowing them to just let go and truly be themselves (audio is a great medium to express and facilitate vulnerability). I’ve only been using Anecdote for a short period of time, and I’ve already heard some really touching, heartwarming stories. This app feels so different from other social media apps. Instead of feeling rushed, it feels comfortable. Especially in a time like this, when we can’t connect physically with others, it’s good to know that audio can still bring us closer together. This app has true heart. It’s loving and it’s personal. If I had to describe the feeling I get from Anecdote, it’s essence, it would be this: it’s like an auditory hug.

Honestly, I’ve been waiting for a social media platform that does intimate connection well and definitely see that with Anecdote! Have been lucky to follow Anecdote since it’s release and incredible to see how far it’s come.
