Angel Squad gave me access to dealflow that came formally vetted by a VC versus word of mouth. It felt like a better use of my time to look at deals that's already been qualified by a tenured team of investment professionals. Although, I have to say - while I joined for the dealflow, I stayed for the community. Really feels like an open door policy with the team and other angels in the squad - you can ask any question, nothing is silly, and someone is always willing to help.
