Animatica Marionette is a neural control rig for Blender: drag a hand, a foot or the hips and the whole body follows. Marionette allows editing FK motion directly in Blender. It runs on your machine, in about 15 ms a pose, on Mixamo, Unreal and other humanoid rigs as they are.

Hi Product Hunt, I’m Paul from Animatica.
Marionette is a Blender add-on for posing characters and fixing their animation by hand. Drag a hand, a foot, the hips or the head, and a pose model inside the add-on moves the rest of the body while the feet hold the floor.
It started as the posing handles in our free add-on and grew into a tool for blocking and polish:
• Motion Trail: drag the path of a hand, the head or the hips to reshape it, Alt-drag to retime
• Zoetrope: the frames around the playhead laid out side by side, each one poseable
• Smooth Brush: paint the jitter out of a take
• Lock in Place: hold a planted foot for a stretch of frames so it stops sliding
• Motion Check: finds sliding feet, popping bones and shaking joints, and fixes them
What you’ll probably want to know:
• It runs offline on your CPU inside Blender, with no account.
• It writes plain FK keys on your own rig. Nothing is added to the rig, and undo takes any edit back.
• It works on humanoid rigs from Mixamo, Character Creator, Daz, VRoid, the UE5 mannequin and 3ds Max Biped, with nothing renamed.
• It doesn’t generate animation for you. You set the poses, and it solves the rest of the body.
It’s $59, paid once, for Blender 5.0 or later. Until October 28, the code on this page takes 50% off, so it’s $29.50.
If you’d also like motion generated from a prompt, key poses or waypoints, our free add-on Choreographer shares the same bar in the viewport.
I’ll be in the comments all day on launch day. Tell me which rig you’d try it on first, and what breaks.
Writing ordinary FK keys back to the existing rig is a thoughtful choice. It means the animator can keep working on the pose with tools they already know.
