I built Anki Vacation TTS because I was tired of phrasebooks that sound like robots or textbooks. Travelers don’t need “Where is the library?” - they need real, colloquial phrases with natural audio. I'm German, and with this, people in Colombia, Albania, and Greece thought I was a native - until they noticed I could only speak a few sentences. :D
