Love that this is not "yet another mobile app" and a web app instead. Also impressed how good it works on mobile. Connecting my Instagram and Twitter does not seem to work though.

It feels like a very genuine, honest description that most people have provided for themselves. Definitely feels like this is more about getting to know people than just swiping or hooking up.

Pros:

clean, simple design, people seem to take it seriously, seamless interface with other platforms.

Cons:

Marked I was interested in men, still seeing women, can't tell who's interested in what, not sure where people are without reading more.

Good: I can see how the format will lead to meeting up face-to-face faster. Bad: It's too easy to accidentally "ask out" a person. Twice now I've hit the "Ask X Out" button when I meant to hit the "Next Person" button 😬

@antonybearpark We’ll make this better in the future. It prompts users right now during sign up but not when applying. We didn’t want to make the application flow super long and it’s more okay with this product than Tinder that location is unspecified because, for the most part, we expect discovery to happen via the person with the profile. This means naturally most of the people applying would already be local. We’ll see if that ends up being true though

@antonybearpark We don't have discovery yet - when that happens, we'll filter on location. Right now, you share your page yourself. So everyone that sees it probably already lives near you, since they'll come from friends, friends of friends, Tinder, OkC, etc

@antonybearpark @jarredsumner You could integrate with an data enrichment service and have folks confirm that? FullContact has good person level data you could tap. Together with what you get back from Facebook / Twitter etc.
