AquaRise is an environmental platform designed to make taking action for our waters easier. The idea is simple: discover polluted beaches, rivers, lakes, and other waterbodies, learn why they need attention, and connect with real cleanup opportunities already organized by environmental groups.
This is actually such a cool use case. What made you guys build this in the first place?
@dora_dao When we were brainstorming ideas, we realized that environmental problems are way incredibly overlooked.
A lot of people genuinely want to help the environment, but they don't know where to start or where to find opportunities to take action even though many large NGOS exists.
Others don't see the point in participating when big companies and millions of other people will continue polluting our waterbodies and the rest of the planet anyway.
But we do see a point, because at the end of the day, we all want the same thing: to live in a better world, even if many people have already started losing hope that we can create one.
With AquaRise, we didn't want to just build a product. We wanted to build a real community and invite people to take action, because change starts with us.
That's also why we've tried to make the platform as accessible and simple as possible. We don't want AquaRise to just be a pretty product just for the launch. We want it to be something people can actually use to make a difference.
So yeah, you could say AquaRise is an invitation not to give up and a reminder that we can still build a better world together as a community.💕
