I considered using separate tools for meeting notes, document search, and task management. I chose Ari by Ariso because it brings those capabilities together with the context of my actual work. Instead of just generating answers, Ari helps me find relevant information, capture meeting decisions, and turn them into concrete follow-up actions. That continuity across conversations, meetings, and documents makes it more useful for day-to-day execution than a standalone AI assistant or a collection of disconnected tools

We use Ari to help keep our organization culture healthy. We have Ari connected to Slack, Linear, GitHub, and other data sources and it uses this information to make sure that there is good communication and behavior via gentle coaching and nudges. The app has great potential! The intelligence keeps improving and stays on the side of being helpful instead of annoying. Look forward to using Ari more!

As the product evolves, I think that Ari should find ways to be more proactively helpful and guide you to customizing the experience to fit each person's unique role or style.

Local, on-device transcription with no bot joining the call is the big draw - a lot of "AI notetakers" are actually just a bot that awkwardly joins as a participant, and Oats skips that entirely. Free and open-source with no subscription wall for the core recording/transcription loop is rare in this category.

Setup docs could be clearer about which on-device model sizes work well on lower-spec machines versus which features actually require the ariso.ai cloud backend - it's not obvious upfront where the "fully local" line is drawn.

Granola is a polished product but it's cloud-based and subscription-priced once you're past the free tier. Oats running fully on-device with no cloud round-trip mattered more to me for meetings with sensitive content.

At any given point we have 3-4 major internal projects and double digit external projects that I need to lead and/or be involved in. I could hire another head just to keep us on track, but Ari does that for us. It's our team's project manager and hub for project progress.

I'd like harness templates for specific projects / agents. i.e. "implementation projects" "okr projects" etc. Will short cut our training of the product every time we want to put Ari into something new.

The shared context is killer, as well as the specific harnessing for project and goal management. Claude makes us smarter, slack connects us, and Ari keeps us all organized and on track.
