I’ve been using Assembly for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed. What started as a tool I hesitated to try has become a core part of how our team runs client workflows. From the get-go, the branded portal experience feels polished and professional — clients get a unified space to message, share files, pay invoices, and fill out forms. It’s like handing them a sleek, dedicated dashboard just for your service, and it really elevates the relationship. Internally, the AI-powered CRM is brilliant. It understands client context (notes, history, custom data, etc.) and helps with smart automations — drafting replies, summarizing threads, creating tasks, even prepping invoices. That frees up our team from tedious busywork so we can focus on higher-value creative work. I also appreciate how open and extendable the platform is. We were able to plug in tools we already use (Calendly, Airtable, etc.) via integrations and webhooks. That meant minimal disruption in our workflows, but maximum benefit from what Assembly offers. Customer support from the team has been responsive and genuinely helpful — whenever I’ve had a question or a request, they’ve engaged quickly and thoughtfully. All in all, Assembly delivers on its promise of combining client-facing polish with powerful internal tools. I spent years looking for a tool that offered a great turn-key client portal experience and I was thrilled when I found co-pilot (now Assembly). It is customizable while also offering pre-made fit for purpose solutions. I use co-pilot to centralize service offerings to client that currently exist in multiple locations - booking through calendly, models in google sheets, the Finlotus App (web app), and courses on Thinkific. I also use multiple co-pilot built tools like forms for intake and feedback, chat, contracts, files, workflows, and tasks. I also find it exciting that Assembly is in a phase of development where they continue to roll out enhancements and updates that I get to use to further enhance my client experience. On top of all this, the customer service team is fantastic. They are quick to reply, offer solutions, and pass on requests for features to their development team. Big fan over here!
