Auterix is a really interesting tool for anyone who regularly works with AI coding assistants. One of the biggest problems with tools like Cursor and Claude Code is that after several iterations, the AI can start making changes that don't fully match the existing project architecture.
I like Auterix's structured approach. Having the workflow go through research, planning, confirmation, and then execution makes AI-assisted development feel much more controlled. The ability to keep rules and project context synchronized across different coding assistants is also very useful.
The CLI is straightforward, and I especially like that it's open source and doesn't add unnecessary dependencies. It feels like a practical layer between the developer and AI coding tools rather than another complicated platform to learn.
Definitely worth trying if you're using AI heavily for development and want more consistency and control over the changes it makes.
