@eric_taejun_lee Congratulations, you guys have created a great product!
Hey Eric,Congratulations on the release! This sounds great. Our team has also been working on creating product promo videos recently, and we've spent quite some time on subtitles. However, it's not the recording of the video with subtitles that's time-consuming; it's actually writing the text and proofreading the timeline (the narration is generated by AI). I think it would be fantastic if you could support automatic narration and subtitles generation for the visuals – that would be incredibly cool! P.S. our video: https://youtu.be/qy-16bPgH-k?si=...
@dino123 Hi Shane, thank you so much for your kind words, and congratulations on your team's efforts as well!
Subtitle and narration generation can indeed be quite a task, but it sounds like you've got a good handle on it.
I'm excited to share that at Ssemble, we're dedicated to integrating all the AI-powered tools you need for video editing in one place. For the narration aspect, we have plugins that leverage ElevenLabs and Microsoft API, known as AI Voice Creator. You can check it out here: https://www.producthunt.com/prod.... This makes it super easy to add both subtitles and matching narration right within the Ssemble editor.
Even more, if you're looking to craft a script for your product demos, our ChatGPT Script Writer plugin could be a game changer for you. It allows you to create the script beforehand, which you can find at https://www.ssemble.com/plugin/c....
So the next time you're putting together a product demo video, all you would need is your screencast or animation footage. Writing the script, adding subtitles, and incorporating narration can all be done within our editor, streamlining your production process significantly.
Looking forward to seeing how Ssemble can help streamline your video production further!
@kingromstar Hi, Rami. That's a very good question. Ssemble's automatic subtitle generator offers several distinctive features that set it apart from the subtitle generators provided by Google and Facebook.
Firstly, Ssemble allows users to 'burn' subtitles directly onto the video. This means that the subtitles become an integral part of the video itself, ensuring they are always displayed regardless of the platform the video is viewed on, without the need for additional subtitle settings. This can be particularly beneficial for educational content or promotional videos where the dissemination of information via subtitles is crucial.
Additionally, Ssemble provides the option to add animations to subtitles and offers a variety of fonts and colors for styling. This enables users to create more creative and personalized subtitles that can enhance branding or highlight specific messages. Such styling features are planned to be made available in an upcoming update.
Users will be able to upload subtitle files in formats such as SRT, VTT, and TXT, edit them, and then download them again. This flexibility allows for a more streamlined workflow, especially for professionals who need to make quick edits to existing subtitles.
The capability to translate subtitles is also on the horizon for Ssemble. This feature will facilitate reaching a global audience by breaking down language barriers, making content more accessible to non-native speakers.
(Some of the features above would be updated soon)
Hey congrats on launching on product Hunt today! Interesting technology that you have here with Ssemble! Quick question, how do you differs from auto captions on platform like YouTube and othes?

Hi Eric, congrats on the launch!
Quick question and apologies if you already answered it, does it only work with English or are other languages supported too?
Thanks! 🙌
