Reminds me of Media Keys, a chrome extension that allows you to use your keybord's media keys to control a large variety of web players in Google Chrome, and that auto pauses one player when you lauch another :

With the absence of something like this in OSX, it's great to be able to change this! Especially when streaming a lot to your stereo system!
I have been using Hear for 3 years https://www.prosofteng.com/hear-... - it allows you to mix the different sound sources, but also add EQ and sound enhancements to everything (ie: Spotify, which weirdly has no built in EQ for desktop).

works well haven’t encountered any bugs yet. feature request: disable apps (that don’t have audio) from displaying

1) Press the "Download Zip" button on the left upper corner in Github.
2) Unzip the files.
3) Move the files to the Desktop.
4) Open Terminal.
5) Paste and press enter: cd Desktop
6) Paste and press enter: chmod +x build_and_install.sh
7) sudo spctl --master-disable
8) Paste and press enter: ./build_and_install.sh
9) If a password is asked, put it in and it should start installing.
