I'm Sanjay, the maker of Beacon. As a developer and blogger, the most frustrating part of shipping new content is waiting for Google to actually notice it. I got tired of manually inspecting URLs in Search Console and waiting days for crawlers to show up, so I built Beacon to speed up the process. Beacon is a native Mac app that connects directly to the Google & Bing Indexing APIs. You just paste your URL (or your entire sitemap), click "Broadcast," and the search engines are notified instantly. Why I built it as a native app: I wanted something fast, private, and one-time purchase friendly. Unlike SaaS tools that store your API keys on their servers, Beacon keeps everything local on your machine. I’d love to hear your feedback!
