Hi Product Hunt. I'm Dre, one of the founders of Beacon Alerts. Here's something nobody in emergency alerting has fixed: to send someone an alert, an administrator has to hold their personal phone number. Every platform works this way. That means someone in your organisation is sitting on a spreadsheet of personal mobiles, creating a data protection liability, a security risk, and a trust problem. People give fake numbers or don't sign up at all, and your "emergency notification system" can't actually reach half the people it's meant to. We built the Blind Relay to fix this. People add their own contact details. That information is encrypted and invisible to everyone, including admins. When an alert goes out, the system resolves the details at the moment of delivery, sends the message, and discards the association. The admin sees who responded. They never see the number it was sent to. The data simply isn't there to be mishandled. The other thing we couldn't stomach was the pricing. Enterprise alerting platforms charge thousands per year for what is, at its core, a message relay with escalation logic. Beacon does the same job for £99/month. No contract, no procurement theatre. If you sign up for the annual plan before the end of April, that price is locked in for the life of your subscription. Unlimited users, unlimited sites. No increases, ever. One more thing. Got this up and running within minutes. Intuitive and easy to use. Love the privacy first aspect as many of our staff won’t give personal contact details. Excellent price point compared to alternate platforms.
